Powering Options
The Zareba Automatic Gate Opener operates off a 12-volt, 7.2 amp hour battery.
Like any battery, it becomes drained with use and needs to be charged.
We recommend AC power (if within 1,000 feet of gate) and the transformer
(included in kit) to provide a continuous trickle charge to the battery.
If AC power is not within 1,000 feet, we recommend the Zareba Solar Panel
Battery Charger (GSP5 or GSP10) to charge to the battery.
