Powering Options
The Zareba Automatic Gate Opener operates off a 12-volt, 7.2 amp hour battery.
Like any battery, it becomes drained with use and needs to be charged.
We recommend mains power (if within 300 metres of gate) and the transformer
(included in kit) to provide a continuous trickle charge to the battery.
If mains power is not within 300 metres, we recommend the Zareba Solar Panel
Battery Charger (GBSP1) to charge to the battery.
