Electric Fence Poly Wire

Poly wire is a good fencing choice since it is more visible than traditional metal wire. It weighs only 3 pounds per 1,000 feet, making it convenient to handle, install and rewind. It can be re-used again and again and is easily tightened and repaired.

Splice poly wire by tying a good, tight knot to maintain connections. No special splicer is required. Use of a poly wire tightener (PWT6) on each line and each side of the fence will allow you to maintain wire tension as needed.

Poly wire is recommended for a wide variety of fencing applications, including livestock—strip or rotational grazing, and pet control. Refer to the poly wire chart for product information.

Note: For best results, use a low-impedance fence controller to energize poly wire fences.
