Q&A
Q.I installed my electric fence. I used the tester to make sure it is working. When I connect it to the fence, it has 4 out of 5 flashing lights. Does this mean it is working or should it be solid lights?
A.

Each light indicates the amount of voltage at the testing site. When the fourth light is lit, that means there are at least 4,000 volts.  Since the fifth light is not lit, there is less than 5500 volts at the testing area.
