Review RateThe birds voted this as their favorite ! ! !
This feeder continues to be the birds favorite. The birds use this feeder all through the day and love to challenge the bees, whom are not very lucky at this feeder.
Review RateDon't buy this
I purchased two of these from a local store. At first, I thought I would love them because it would be easy to clean the bottle. This part is true but, they leak so badly that I found out that I had to refill them constantly. I took them down and resumed using the older style. I bought a replacement part for the older style but of the parts cracked and I don't see that it is still available. Don't buy this model because you will be pouring money down the tube, so to speak.Response From Zareba®Patty : Consumer Relations Representative
We apologize for this experience and would like the opportunity to learn more.
When the bottle is tightly secured to the base, and the feeder is turned upright quickly to create a vacuum, it should not leak. Our feeders are covered by a one year replacement warranty.

These feeders are much easier to fill. The little hummers came right away and had a meal. Thank you for changing the design. Much appreciate the new look & ease. Marilou R.
Review RateNot happy with these feeders
I purchased two of these feeders. They leak so badly that the nectar needs refilling daily...if anyone has any ideas as to how to stop the leaking please let me know. The nectar pours out of the flowers. My old feeders has a very small mouth and they never leaked, these have a very wide mouth and I wonder if this may be the problem.Response From Zareba®Patty : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateEasy to clean!
So easy to clean! The bee guards work great for the bees but my orioles and finches have figured out how to get them off as they are not 'snug' so I usually have to search for one in the grass or planter. I have 4 feeders--2 new design and 2 old skinny neck--located all around my back yard. I try to spread them out so there will be no territory fighting and chasing, but still it goes on with two different types not willing to share. I make my own nectar, but the sample that came with my latest purchase seemed to attract the hummers the best!
Review RatePoor design
I bought this feeder for the bee screen, well I just hung it a couple of days ago! 3/22/17. It has been windy here in Ky. Well my back patio is covered in nectar juice, the design of the bee screens let the nectar juice pour our! It should be designed with the screens solid on the bottom of the screens and the flowers turned up more! Was a reasonable price, love the way you can disconnect the top from the jar! Need a better way to keep the nectar juice in! I do not want ants in my Kitchen!I put black tape around the screen to see if I could stop the juice from spilling out!Response From Zareba®Lauren : Consumer Relations Representative
Thank you for sharing this experience. When hanging a hummingbird feeder, it is recommended to do so in an area in the shade with little to no wind. In windy conditions, the feeder may begin to tilt, causing the vacuum seal to be interrupted and nectar to leak out.

Review RateEasy to clean and fill
I have several different hummingbird feeders. This one is my favorite - widely used by my winter visitors. It's easy to clean and fill. I clean and refill with fresh food every three days.
Review RatePoor refill design
Humming birds rarely use compared to other feeders in my yard. Screens tend to get dirty. To open you have to turn upside down, which means you have to dump a large amount of food to clean and/or refill.Response From Zareba®Patty : Consumer Relations Representative
We appreciate the time taken to provide this feedback and apologize for the experience.
As creatures of habit, birds can take some time to become accustomed to a new feeder in their environment. We recommend temporarily removing other feeders so that they can get used to the new one. It is best to clean and replace the nectar at least weekly, and more frequently during hotter weather. The bee guards should easily pop off the feeder for extra cleaning if needed.

Review RateBee Guard is IneffectiveI bought this feeder for the bee guard. It has proven to be completely ineffective. Bees cover the feeders all day long. This feeder is in southern Nevada where a lot of migrating hummers pass by. The hummers are attracted to the feeder but the bees turn them off.Response From Zareba®Eric : Consumer Relations RepresentativeWe apologize for this unusual experience. If bees are taking over the feeder, we recommend taking it down for a few days until they move away from the area. Then replace the feeder in a slightly different location. If the problem persists, please contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-PERKYPET (1-855-737-5973) with any additional questions.
