Q.How long are the leads that go from the enclosure to the fence? How long is the AC cord? Thanks, Bob

The power cord is 30 inches in length from where the cord exits the metal case to the bottom of the plug. Leadout wires are not included with the charger.  We recommend using a 20KV insulated wire.  This unit must be mounted inside or in a waterproof enclosure.

Q.Does this unit need protection from the weather?
A.

We always recommend that any energizer requiring AC power be installed either indoors or beneath an overhang.
