Helpfulness
Maybe I'm using it Wrong
Mar 3, 2022
Maybe I'm just using it improperly, but I adjusted the alignment as per the instructions that came with the tool and others on YouTube. Opening the tool wide enough to fit in the 2/3 crimp places the handles so wide (envision a person doing the side splits) that it almost takes two people to close them and crimp. The handles are almost 180° apart, so there's no leverage unless you can press one handle against a solid/steady surface.
I wound up using large vice grips. $84 is a lot of money to me and this is the only Zereba purchase I regret.

Thank you for sharing this feedback. We're sorry to hear about the trouble experienced when using this tool. When opened, the handles should not be at a full 180 degrees. Please feel free to reach out to us at 1-855-592-7322 with any questions.

STRONG FENCE
May 10, 2020
Zareba fence rules!!! Had five trees fall across the fence after a winter heavy snow storm. The trees sat on the fence for a month before I could cut them, and the fence DID NOT break or suffer real damage. Just removed the trees, put staples back in, and re-tensioned the fence.
