This connector was the very cheapest possible.

The connector was low quality from the small gauge wire to the extremely light connections to the plastic nuts that hold it to the wire. I would like to see it made with 12 gauge wire solid copper and much better connectors.

The Zareba® Polytape to Energizer Connector is designed to be used with 12–14 gauge fence wire on the energizer plate. This gauge range ensures a secure connection and good conductivity with most standard electric fence setups.
