Zareba® Polytape Wood Post Insulator

This wood post insulator keeps poly tape from moving on the wooden post, preventing problems from occurring with your electric fence. Available in 2 color options - white, or yellow.

Our Zareba® Polytape Wood Post Insulator is molded of heavy-duty polyethylene and has a large flange to prevent arcing. This insulator extends the tape 2 inches from the post.

These electric fence insulators are packed 25 per bag, including nails and a tape holder which locks for easy installation.

Cracked in less than 2 months

I put up about 20 of these and in less than 2 months 9 of them cracked where the nail goes through and fell off the nail & post. I was fortunate that the horses didn't escape.

Will this work for 4 inch poly tape

This product will not work with 4 inch poly tape.

How wide of Polytape can these hold?
