Brilliant idea, but I would suggest two modifications to make it truly outstanding: 1. Make the diameter of the holes larger. Presently, they can only accommodate a wood screw of an extremely small diameter, which is absurd. 2. Where there are presently three holes spaced vertically on the bracket, leave the lower two holes vertically aligned, and add one additional hole at the top, with the top holes realigned opposite one another (forming a 'Y' pattern of four holes, rather than a straight line of 3 holes). Adding another hole at the top and re-spacing the top two holes will better redistribute the weight of whatever is mounted to the bracket and make it less likely to shear off due to stress from something like high winds or a minor impact. Larger holes will allow for the use of something larger than a size 6 wood screw for mounting for those of us putting up something like bird houses which can only accommodate a 1"-1.25" long wood screw.Response From Zareba®Kathryn : Consumer Relations Representative

I used the bracket to attach a blue bird house to a metal post and works great. Thank you
