Very good insulator.

These insulators are heavy duty. You can use regular metal electric wire, the poly tape or the poly wire. The will fight you a bit if you damaged the top of your T-Post but a rubber mallet takes care of that problem. The price is pretty much right in the middle of the road but you get what you pay for. They are made with a good thickness and can be reused, moved around if needed. I like the protection they provide at the top of a T-post. If you or one of your animals ever gets near the top of the T-Post they wont get hurt.

We have 30 acres we're dividing into 9 new pastures. We're using t-posts and a combo of electric rope, 1 inch tape and 2 inch tape. These toppers fit really well. You really have to push topper down onto t-post to make sure they're seated properly, but once seated they are stable and strong.

5 stars for price, durability, and ease of use. I have these square ones as well as some of the round ones - I like these better because they snug down more readily, even with some of the tops of t-posts mis-shapen from pounding them in to the ground... The clip will easily hold barbed wire, high tencile wire, or cattle/ hog panels. One drawback to these is that the clip isn't quite as strong as some others, but if you're tying your fence to the posts and using these for additional support, you're good - don't depend on these to hold the fence in place without tying, though, or you will be disappointed - and repairing fences sooner than later.These offer good coverage for those sharp corners on the t-posts, reducing injury to 4 leggers and 2 leggers alike.At $7.50 with prime shipping, these cost about half of what I bought some round ones for (same size package) at the local farm store - plus I didn't have to spend the gas to go get them! Save time, money, and gas... can't beat that!I've ordered twice now, and will likely be back for more when we get the next stretch of pasture fenced and ready!

I was always worried about ridding my horses around the t-post but not anymore. I love these white squared (no edges) saftey tips, they are not only preventing impailment but preventing scratches on my horses and they look so nice! Also a perfect nice snug fit on the post.
