What ends of the poultry netting go together to connect fences? Red to red? Black to black? Black to red? What is the best grounding rod?
Question by: Danielle on Oct 19, 2024, 8:43 AM
There is a small bag which contains 3 lead wires. The red wire to the red terminal on the energizer and black wire to the ground terminal on the energizer. We recommend a 6' copper grounding rod.

Can the netting touch the ground
Question by: Christopher on Feb 22, 2025, 2:20 PM
Hi, we appreciate your question! No, the netting cannot touch the ground.
Answer by: Victor on Feb 24, 2025, 5:04 PM
If you do not need it that long can you cut it. Also does it need to be connected or can you have a small gate inbetween
Question by: Renee on Apr 5, 2025, 9:39 PM
Thank you for reaching out to us.

While it is technically possible to cut the Zareba® Electric Poultry Netting, we do not recommend it, as cutting may damage the effectiveness of the fence. Instead of cutting, a better solution would be to shorten the netting by either doubling it back over itself or bundling the excess and securing it to the posts.

Does this have to be run in a circle or can each end be against a wooden fence (half moon shaped
Question by: Tracey Hayes on May 17, 2025, 12:08 PM
It does not need to be a full circle; you can set it up in a half-moon shape with ends against a fence.

I am trying to set up the poultry netting (48x82). There are no instructions online or with the package. Please provide installation instructions. “Attach to red/hot wire” is not helpful. Which was the answer provided on an earlier question to another customer.

How do I make a gate with this product.
Question by: Holly Diesel on May 27, 2025, 2:28 PM
Thank you very much for contacting us.

This product offers easy installation and can be moved or adjusted to fit the layout of your property. To create a gate, simply unroll the netting and step the attached double-spiked posts into the ground while tightening the netting as you go. Once the fence is in place, connect a fence energizer (sold separately) to help contain your poultry and keep predators out.
