The Zareba® Gritted Crimping Sleeve 4-5 provides superior wire-gripping for strong splices. Quickly splice wire, in-line strainers or loops at end posts. Use three sleeves per splice for wire, two sleeves for end post loops and in-liner strainer attachment. Use with 12.5 to 13.5 gauge wire. Crimping tool is required. 25 sleeves per pack.

When you crimp these up with the Zareba HT4SCT tool, it really crushes the material to the point where I think it might be over crimped. I use two per wire join (on two-strand barbless wire) and it looks OK and seems to work fine. I use just one on wire loops used to hold a wire tensioner at an end post. I'd prefer if they were longer and I could crimp them twice. I'll be looking for some like that.
